Vocation Discernment Retreat for Men

December 10, 2020 - December 12, 2020
3:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Directed by Father Scott Traynor

Is God calling you?  Father Scott Traynor, a highly experienced spiritual director, has helped multiple young people discern their vocation over his twenty years of priesthood. He has served as a Newman Center Chaplain for both SDSU and USD, working with FOCUS. He has served in seminary formation for multiple years at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, CO as a formator, professor, and most recently Rector of the seminary. He has directed multiple silent retreats for priests, seminarians, and lay people. He has extensive training in Ignatian Spirituality and the Rules of Discernment and has worked with the Institute of Priestly Formation for over a decade. In short, he has an exceptional ability to teach others how to pray and discern God’s will.

This retreat for men 18 and older will be silent with talks led by Father Traynor.  Each day there will be Mass, Confession, and Eucharistic Adoration.  You will also have the opportunity to have one-on-one daily spiritual direction with one of our spiritual directors: Father Scott Traynor, Father Shaun Haggerty, Father Jordan Samson, Father Tyler Mattson, and Father Andy Thuringer.
